This area of China has been flooded in order to build the largest dam in the world.
Many people earn money by traveling around on the river cleaning up garbage. It comes from whole villages that were flooded.
We were told that people sat on hillsides for days and watched their homes and villages disappear under the water.
The Chinese government relocated all these people before the flooding began.
